Mindstorm

A fearsome & fantastic journey to the heart of the Savage Id.

Name:
Location: Invisible City, North Dakota, United States

Read my book, The Mind-Warp Era. It'll tell you about the real Lead--& his alter-ego, the true Rootboy covered with slime (the Savage Id). Partly a poignant memoir, partly a cosmicomic book, it relays the Id's adventures thru dark dimensions of funereal dread, with Timothy Leary as co-pilot. (The rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated.)

Blue (Palm) Sunday

Yeah, & I had a good talk about X-ianity the other night with Hope. Specifically, we called to let her know about the cataract surgery & Trish wanted to know what Church she's going to, now that she's done tripping on the LDS. She said none, the church is too far away, but she's doing Bible study. The Gospel of Judas was recently released, & although Hope would probably be mortified I bet the skinny dog makes it into her new conspiracy/cover-up.

So yesterday was all cleaning for Trish, apart from a morning playing Penguins. I decided to wait with the re-make/re-model of TC until Monday, when Trish has physical therapy. She also does Tuesday, so even though tomorrow Perky Pam puts a spike into my vein I'll have the draft sufficiently ready for Ted to work on it.

We ate at the soup kitchen, who had some kind of chicken-potato dish & a bowl of corn chowder. Then we spent the rest of the food stamp card at Albertson's, where we picked up a huge roast for Trish to cook in her crock pot. She cleaned all afternoon while I listened to CDs. Maybe I'm letting the impending cataract surgery scare me, but I'm a little depressed now which makes it hard to write. I do like to listen to the stereo in the Captain's chair, though. Trish watched Coyote Ugly while I took a bath. We had macaroni & cheese for supper & then watched LOTR until 8:30. Just the first 1/2 of #3; it's too long to watch in one sitting. At least I had a chance to watch something that I wanted to, & we gave the Buffster a rest. Battlestar Galactica is the new Buffy, anyway.

So today is Palm Sunday. Trish will be making muffins in a few minutes, & after church will be Taco Loco time.
